Welcome to SastaSetu. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the SastaSetu website, products, services, features, and related communications (collectively, the “Services”).

By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, or using any part of the Services, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other policies displayed on the website. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable Indian law to use the Services. If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the Services only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the Services, you confirm that the information provided by you is accurate, complete, and current.

2. Account Registration and Security

Some features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • providing correct and complete account information;

  • keeping your login credentials and OTPs confidential;

  • restricting unauthorized access to your account and device; and

  • promptly informing SastaSetu about any suspected unauthorized use.

All activities carried out through your account will be treated as authorized by you unless you promptly report unauthorized access. SastaSetu may suspend or terminate an account if it contains false information, is misused, or creates a security or legal risk.

3. Products and Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, images, colours, specifications, prices, and availability accurately. However:

  • colours and appearance may vary depending on the device or screen;

  • product packaging or design may change without materially affecting the product;

  • minor differences may occur because of photography, manufacturing, or supplier updates; and

  • typographical, pricing, or description errors may occasionally occur.

Product images may be illustrative. Customers should review the product description, specifications, size information, ingredients, usage instructions, warnings, and return eligibility before placing an order.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order does not automatically mean that SastaSetu has accepted it. An order is accepted when it is confirmed for processing or dispatched, subject to product availability and successful payment verification.

SastaSetu may refuse, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including:

  • product unavailability;

  • incorrect pricing or listing information;

  • payment failure or verification issues;

  • suspected fraud, resale, or misuse;

  • delivery restrictions;

  • unusually large quantities; or

  • legal, technical, or operational reasons.

If a prepaid order is cancelled by SastaSetu, the amount paid for the cancelled item or order will be refunded according to our Return and Refund Policy.

5. Prices, Taxes, and Charges

Product prices are displayed in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes will be included or shown as required by law.

Shipping, Cash on Delivery, platform, convenience, handling, or other charges may apply and will be shown before order confirmation wherever applicable.

Prices, discounts, offers, and availability may change without prior notice. A price change will not normally affect an order already accepted, except where a clear pricing or technical error has occurred.

6. Payments

Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers. By making a payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

SastaSetu does not ask customers to share an OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV, or banking password. Customers should immediately report suspicious payment requests or unauthorized transactions to their bank and to SastaSetu.

Payment failures, reversals, or delays caused by banks, payment gateways, UPI systems, or other third parties may be outside SastaSetu’s direct control.

7. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery may not be available for every product, order value, customer, or delivery location. SastaSetu may verify a COD order through phone, WhatsApp, SMS, email, or OTP before dispatch.

Repeated refusal, non-acceptance, or misuse of COD orders may result in cancellation of orders or restrictions on future COD purchases.

8. Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather, public holidays, remote locations, regulatory restrictions, incorrect addresses, customer unavailability, or other circumstances outside reasonable control.

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and ensure that someone is available to receive the order. Risk of loss or damage passes as provided under applicable law and the relevant shipping arrangement.

9. Cancellation, Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Order cancellations, returns, replacements, exchanges, and refunds are governed by the SastaSetu Return and Refund Policy and the return conditions displayed on the applicable product page.

Customers must inspect the package at delivery and follow the evidence requirements stated in the Return and Refund Policy for damaged, defective, missing, tampered, or incorrect product claims.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right available under applicable law.

10. Promotions, Coupons, and Offers

Promotional codes, discounts, cashback, gifts, and special offers:

  • may be valid only for a limited period;

  • may apply only to selected products, customers, order values, or locations;

  • cannot be exchanged for cash unless expressly stated;

  • may not be combined with other offers unless permitted; and

  • may be cancelled or reversed in cases of misuse, fraud, cancellation, or return.

SastaSetu may modify or withdraw an offer, subject to applicable law. Orders already validly accepted under an offer will be handled according to the offer terms and applicable law.

11. Reviews and User Content

If you submit a review, photograph, video, comment, suggestion, or other content, you confirm that:

  • it is genuine and based on your experience;

  • you own it or have permission to submit it;

  • it does not violate any third-party right;

  • it is not false, misleading, abusive, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful; and

  • it does not contain malware, spam, or unauthorized advertising.

You grant SastaSetu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, format, and use submitted content for operating and promoting the Services, subject to applicable privacy law.

SastaSetu may moderate or remove user content that violates these Terms, but is not obligated to publish every submission.

12. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • use the Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

  • provide false identity, payment, address, or contact information;

  • interfere with website security, performance, or operation;

  • attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, or data;

  • introduce viruses, bots, malicious code, or automated scraping tools;

  • copy, resell, exploit, or commercially misuse the Services without written permission;

  • manipulate prices, reviews, promotions, referrals, or refund processes;

  • impersonate another person or organization; or

  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights.

SastaSetu may restrict or terminate access and take appropriate legal action where misuse is suspected.

13. Intellectual Property

The SastaSetu name, logo, website design, graphics, text, photographs, videos, product presentation, software, and other original content are owned by or licensed to SastaSetu and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the website only for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, distributed, sold, or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party brand names, trademarks, product images, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may contain links to or integrations with payment gateways, courier companies, social platforms, marketplaces, or other third-party services.

Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. SastaSetu is not responsible for an independent third party’s website, content, availability, or conduct, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SastaSetu does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.

Any manufacturer warranty applicable to a product will be governed by the manufacturer’s warranty terms. Nothing in this section excludes warranties, guarantees, or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SastaSetu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from the use of the Services, including loss caused by events beyond reasonable control.

Where liability cannot be excluded, SastaSetu’s liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold SastaSetu harmless from claims, losses, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, violation of these Terms, fraud, or infringement of another person’s rights.

18. Suspension and Termination

SastaSetu may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, engage in fraudulent activity, create legal or security risks, or fail to make a valid payment.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination, including payment obligations and provisions intended to survive termination.

19. Privacy

Personal information is collected and processed according to the SastaSetu Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

20. Electronic Communications

By using the Services, you consent to receiving transactional communications relating to your account, orders, payments, delivery, returns, support requests, and security through email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone, or other available channels.

Marketing communications will be sent according to applicable law and available consent preferences. You may opt out of marketing communications, but essential transactional messages may still be sent.

21. Force Majeure

SastaSetu will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, war, riots, government action, transport disruption, courier interruption, network failure, power outage, labour disputes, or similar events.

22. Changes to the Services or Terms

SastaSetu may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. Continued use of the Services after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

23. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure by SastaSetu to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the policies referenced in them and any product-specific terms displayed at purchase, form the agreement between you and SastaSetu regarding use of the Services.

25. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve any concern by contacting SastaSetu customer support.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection law and any forum that a consumer is legally entitled to approach, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kotputli, Rajasthan, India.
