This Legal Notice applies to the SastaSetu website, online store, mobile interfaces, social-media storefronts, customer-support channels, and related digital services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read this Legal Notice together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Refund Policy.

2. Purpose of the Platform

SastaSetu provides information about products and enables customers to browse, select, order, pay for, and request support for products offered through the Platform.

Product availability, pricing, specifications, offers, delivery eligibility, and return conditions may vary by product, seller, location, and time.

3. Accuracy of Information

SastaSetu makes reasonable efforts to keep product descriptions, prices, images, specifications, stock information, delivery estimates, and other Platform content accurate and current.

However, typographical errors, technical errors, image variations, supplier updates, or temporary inaccuracies may occur. SastaSetu may correct errors, update information, or cancel an affected order, subject to applicable law. If a prepaid order is cancelled, the eligible amount will be refunded according to the Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing on the Platform should be treated as professional, medical, legal, financial, or technical advice unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise stated, the SastaSetu name, logo, website layout, graphics, text, photographs, videos, icons, product presentation, software, design elements, and original content are owned by or licensed to SastaSetu and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Users may access the Platform for personal and lawful shopping purposes. No person may copy, reproduce, modify, republish, distribute, sell, scrape, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from Platform content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, brand names, product images, and other intellectual property belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on the Platform does not imply sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.

5. Prohibited Use

Users must not:

  • use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or abusive purposes;

  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, servers, or data;

  • introduce malicious software, automated bots, scraping tools, or harmful code;

  • manipulate prices, offers, reviews, payments, refunds, referrals, or promotions;

  • impersonate another person, business, or authority;

  • submit false contact, identity, payment, or delivery information;

  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, or other legal rights; or

  • interfere with the security, integrity, availability, or operation of the Platform.

SastaSetu may restrict access, cancel affected transactions, preserve relevant records, and take appropriate legal action where misuse is suspected.

6. External Links and Third-Party Services

The Platform may contain links to or integrations with payment gateways, courier partners, social-media platforms, manufacturers, sellers, or other third parties.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. SastaSetu does not control and is not responsible for an independent third party’s website, availability, content, security, or conduct, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

7. Product and Manufacturer Information

Manufacturer names, warranties, specifications, ingredients, safety instructions, and usage information are generally based on information provided by manufacturers, suppliers, or sellers.

Customers must read product labels, instructions, warnings, and warranty terms before use. Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, are governed by the relevant manufacturer’s conditions.

SastaSetu does not exclude any statutory guarantee, warranty, liability, or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Website Availability and Security

SastaSetu aims to maintain reliable Platform access but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously secure operation. Access may be suspended or affected by maintenance, upgrades, cyber incidents, network failures, force-majeure events, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Users are responsible for using secure devices and networks and for protecting their account credentials, OTPs, and payment information.

SastaSetu will never ask customers to share a UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV, banking password, or OTP for processing a refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SastaSetu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the Platform, third-party services, unauthorized activity caused by a user’s failure to protect credentials, or events beyond reasonable control.

Nothing in this Legal Notice limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Reporting Intellectual-Property Infringement

If you believe that content available on the Platform infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right, send a written notice to info@sastasetu.in containing:

  • your full name and contact details;

  • identification of the protected work or right;

  • the exact URL or clear identification of the disputed content;

  • evidence of ownership or authorization;

  • a statement explaining the alleged infringement; and

  • your physical or electronic signature.

SastaSetu may request additional information before taking action and may remove or restrict content where appropriate.

11. Consumer Complaints and Grievances

Customers may submit complaints about orders, payments, delivery, returns, refunds, product information, or Platform use through the following channel:

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Legal Notice and use of the Platform are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection law and any forum that a consumer is legally entitled to approach, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kotputli, Rajasthan, India.

14. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes, restricts, or overrides rights and remedies available to consumers under applicable Indian law. If any provision conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, that legal requirement will prevail.

SastaSetu may update this Legal Notice to reflect changes in the Platform, business practices, or applicable law. The revised version will be posted on the Platform with an updated date.
